From the South – March 2010

Bretheren,

February’s Stated Meeting dinner came out great. We served approximately fifty people a menu that included: Pork Loin Roast, scalloped potatoes, salad, and rolls. Bethel 56 served and I would like to give a special thanks to Heather Percival Bethel’s Honored Queen who directed the serving. Big recognition goes to Brother Chris Percival who expertly carved the meat and made sure it was thoroughly cooked to perfection.

I would also like to give a special thanks to Chuck Hughes; together with Ann. The theme of love was spread in the dining room, it being the month of Valentine’s Day. Our Junior Steward Brian Taylor also helped tremendously as did many others. I have received great support from this lodge and it has made my job easier.

I have added many names to my standing reservation list. This will give me a better idea of how much food to buy economizing the lodge’s funds as much as possible. If you would like your name added to it please call me at 310-850-6523 or e-mail me at jcurnyn@hotmail.com.
