Representatives of Huntington Beach Lodge #380 attended the 2016 Annual Communication of Grand Lodge in San Francisco on October 28th – 30th, including Master Glen West and Senior Warden Evan Strand.

Golden West College Cornerstone Removal

On September 12th, 2016, Huntington Beach #380 hosted the Grand Lodge of California for a Cornerstone Removal and Time Capsule Reveal ceremony. Worshipfuls Chuck Grossman and Craig Reade and Brothers Don Mabe and Frank Willis helped organize the event, and worked with the college on the event details. During the dinner prior to the Stated Meeting held on September 7th, 2016, two of the young Ladies (Kylie McElligott and Kylie Boland) that the Lodge sponsored to attend Girls State shared their experiences. In addition, instead of a Mason of the Month presentation, Worshipful Glen West presented a special “Lodge Sweetheart” award to Lynn Morris for her many contributions to the Lodge over the past year.

A Stated Meeting was held on February 2nd, 2011. Pictured is Tom Burnett, then Senior Deacon. As was Lodge custom, the Senior Deacon collected the money for dinner purchases at the Stated Meeting.

On December 29th, 2010, the Lodge held its annual Police Appreciation Night. Seargent Tom Wetzoerick was honored that evening for his volunteer work.

The Lodge’s annual Christmas Party was held on December 19th, 2010. In addition to carols, games, and a visit from Santa, there was a cookie baking contest that was ultimately won by Heather Percival.
