74th Annual Deep Pit Barbeque
The lodge hosted its 74th Annual Deep Pit Barbeque at Lake Park on Sunday, August 2nd, 2009. That year, the Junior Warden in charge of the event was Wayne Caverly.
Hiram Award Presentation to Jim Innis
On May 16th, 2009, the Lodge presented Brother Jim Innis with the prestigious Hiram Award. Of particular note in his Masonic Career, Brother Innis was the Lodge’s unofficial photographer, taking a large number of the photos found on this website.
Raising of Hector Montes de Oca and Craig Hunt
On April 29th, 2009, Hector Montes de Oca and Craig Hunt were Raised to the Sublime Degree of Master Mason. Worshipful Henry Murillo presided.

Public Schools Night 2009
The Lodge held its annual Public Schools Night on March 25th, 2009. Several students from area schools were honored for their achievements.
Stated Meeting – March 4th, 2009 – Golden Veteran Award Presentation to Henry Bottieri
A Stated Meeting was held on March 4th, 2009. Our Inspector, the Worshipful Brian Messenger, was on hand to make a 50 year presentation on behalf of the Grand Lodge of New York to Brother Henry Bottieri.

On February 11th, 2009, Brian Taylor and Vincenzo Carrano were Initiated Entered Apprentice Masons. Junior Warden Wayne Caverly presided.
Stated Meeting – February 4th, 2009
A Stated Meeting was held on February 4th, 2009. The young ladies of Bethel 56 helped serve the meal, and Master Henry Murillo welcomed a from Riverside Lodge #635.

On January 28th, 2009, Sean Hoelzen was Raised a Master Mason by Huntington Beach Lodge #380. Worshipful Henry Murillo presided.

On October 29th, 2008, the Lodge held its annual Firefighters Appreciation Night. Captain Scott Pokorny was honored that evening for his volunteer work.

On September 17th, 2008, Jon Kompara was Raised a Master Mason by Huntington Beach Lodge #380.
73rd Annual Deep Pit Barbeque
The lodge hosted its 73rd Annual Deep Pit Barbeque at Lake Park on Sunday, August 3rd, 2008. That year, the Junior Warden in charge of the event was Craig Reade.
This event is remembered for an incident in which the Master (Dave Taylor) and Mike Daly launched a football into the burning fire pit. The Junior Warden that year also burned his hand trying to pick up an extremely hot stoking rod. The hand was ultimately fine, but the football didn’t make it.
Stated Meeting – June 6th, 2007
A Stated Meeting was held at Huntington Beach Lodge #380 on June 6th, 2007. At this meeting, Master Chuck Schubert welcomed a visitor, and presented a Mason of the Month award to Brother Ron Kelley. The Huntington Beach DeMolay Chapter served the dinner, and is seen introducing its members.
Passing of Shon Lee, Donald Albers, and Richard Main
On May 23rd, 2007, Shon Lee, Don Albers, and Richard Main were passed to the degree of Fellow Craft.
Initiation of Roger Addie and Matt Martin
On May 9th, 2007, Roger Addie and Matt Martin were initiated Entered Apprentice Masons by Huntington Beach #380.
Public Schools Night 2007
On March 14th, 2007, the Lodge held its annual Public Schools Night. The program, chaired by Senior Deacon Craig Reade, awarded “Most Improved Student” plaques, $50 checks, $25 Barnes & Nobles gift cards, and copies of No Fear Shakespeare and Webster’s Dictionary for students to sixteen students from eight area middle schools. The books were generously donated by Barnes & Noble at South Coast Metro Pointe. About 160 people were in attendance.
Firefighters Appreciation Night 2006
On November 17th, 2006, the Lodge hosted its annual Firefighters Appreciation Night. Pictured are Henry Murillo, Craig Reade, and Wayne Caverly escorting the honoree into the lodge room.
